Welcome to my update for my fourth week of doing IF. I'm a day late again but I forgot to weigh myself when I got up so I had to wait to do the update. I excelled this week and still didn't miss any days. I ended up increasing my fasting hours and my step goal. I didn't want to skip any days this week. In total for this week, I fasted for 115 hours and 54 minutes. I am still struggling when it comes to the waist trainer and haven't worn it consistently. I was initially going to do 14/10 again this week but I wasn't really getting hungry as much so I was just going to do whatever my body told me. I was not feeling hungry but I decided to settle on 18/6. My appetite has decreased. I mostly am eating just because I know I need to not because I am hungry. I might just play it by ear this week and if I exceed the 18 hours I'm thinking of switching to Alternate day fasting. So on my fasting day, I will eat about 500 calories or 20–25% of my energy requirements. Maybe I should do everyday fasting with a calorie deficit. I'm not excited about either of those options because then I have to count calories. I think I'm going to just fast like normal and exercise more and see where that gets me.
Last week my weight was 164 pounds and I weight 166 pounds this week. That is a gain of another 2 pounds this week. I am losing on my body measurement goals I just hate that my weight is going up but I'm not going to let that get me down. My energy levels are still really good. I'm barely sleeping still. I didn't get to the gym area yet just because I have 2 kids at home all day so starting this week I'll go when Malice gets in from school. I closed all my rings on my apple watch once this week. My main issue is meeting my stand goal of 12 hours sometimes I forget to stand up every hour so I will be more cognizant of that. I increased my exercise goal to 45 minutes a day, my move goal is 500 calories, and my stand goal is still 12 hours.
I don't think my goals will change throughout this process but to keep them in the front of my mind I'll still keep them here I will work out every day. I increased my step goal to 9000 steps a day. I want to lose at least 2 pounds if not more. I will wear my waist trainer every day. I will close my rings every day on my Apple fitness app. Lastly, I will continue to fast every day as well. I am hoping this week by doing all these things I will start to lose weight and decrease my body measurements. According to my WeFast on average a person can lose 7 to 11 in 10 weeks and says not focus on the weight loss and stay focused on the non-scale victories. That is what I'm trying to do but it's hard if I am seeing no weight loss or weight gains.

I am going to start adding weekly motivational quotes just to keep myself uplifted. I'm feeling good about everything and all the positive steps I am taking. I like that this is something I am doing just for me and something that makes me happy. I tried to jog a little bit and my knees are so bad. I need to find out how to make that better because part of my physical fitness means being able to run 2 miles and I can barely make it half a block. So if anybody has any suggestions for some exercises that would be better for my joints leave them in the comments. I still haven't spoken to my doctor but I will be letting her know. I just really don't want to be stuck in physical therapy. The last time I had this problem Ally was 6 months old and they said it was hormones since I just had a baby but Buddy is about to be 2 years old so that can't be it. Or maybe it's just the amount of weight. I'm not trying to do too much too soon this time so we shall see what happens. I'll see you guys next week.
Unapologetically,
K
