I said I was going to start posting more informational posts on here so here is another one. Today I wanna share some information about waist training. If you have been keeping up with the blog then you know I just started today. I initially started back in 2018 but then I got deployed overseas so here we are 4 years later and I'm getting back to it. Just like the majority of things in the world, some people think it's bad and others think it is ok. I'm not here to tell you what to do I'm just giving out information.
What is waist training?
Waist training is a type of shapewear. It's a method of shaping the waistline by wearing a corset and tightening it over time. It's also sometimes called corset training, but we'll just be referring to it as waist training throughout this post. There are many different garments you can use it just depends on what you are doing. I have one for working out and I have a corset that I wear when doing normal activities. Waist trainers that are used for exercise are like compression vests that are worn underneath your clothing. They're often made of latex, neoprene, or spandex and provide gentle pressure on your core muscles to help them contract over time.
This post will focus on waist training with a corset. The corset is made from a strong but flexible fabric that is lined with steel boning you can wear it over clothes or under clothes (stealthing). I generally wear mine over a tank top and under my shirt. One thing to be mindful of is that the corset is not machine washable and if the boning gets wet it is going to rust. When you first get a corset you will have to go through seasoning. Seasoning is the process of slowly forming the corset to your body over time like breaking in a new pair of shoes and it also helps you adjust to wearing the corset.

What are the benefits of waist training?
In many cases, waist training can help you lose weight. Waist training is not a replacement for diet and exercise. The compression of the corset means that if you eat less food than usual while wearing it, then this will help with weight loss as well. In addition to helping with body shape, waist training can also improve posture by strengthening back muscles and abdominal muscles over time—if done correctly! Finally, when combined with healthy eating habits and regular exercise (like brisk walking), waist training can have an overall positive impact on your health by improving circulation throughout the body.
Waist training tips for beginners
● Use a good quality corset. If you're going to spend the money on a waist trainer, make sure you get one that is durable and made from high-quality materials. This will ensure that it will last longer and perform better. It's also important to find the right size for your body type so that all of your curves are accentuated, not squished!
● How does waist training work? The process of wearing this garment requires proper care and attention in order for it to provide any benefit at all (and even then, results vary). You should always follow certain steps when putting on or taking off your corset:
● Loosen the laces completely before attempting to put it on or take it off
● Tighten each hook slowly until they are snug against your skin without being uncomfortable; then continue tightening slowly until you reach your desired level of snugness
● Do not wear tight leather corsets as they restrict blood flow around the body causing discomfort as well as increased risk of injury such as fainting due to loss of oxygen supply

How long does it take to see results with waist training?
Waist training is not a magic trick. It takes time and effort to see results, but how long exactly? Most people find that it can take anywhere from six months to a year before you start seeing significant changes in your waist size. The reason for this is simple: Your body needs time to build up new muscle tissue at a faster pace than it will shed fat around your midsection, so while your overall weight may not change much throughout your waist training journey, you'll still be able to see an inch or two lost around that area.
Is waist training dangerous?
Waist training can be dangerous if you don't do it correctly. It should only be done under the supervision of a professional and not for more than a few hours per day. Waist trainers are especially harmful for people with existing medical conditions, so make sure to seek advice from your doctor before trying this trend at home! Waist training is not a quick fix or magic bullet. While it has been done for hundreds of years, waist training is still in its early days as far as understanding its effects. That being said, there are numerous positive benefits to waist training that can help you achieve a more hourglass figure and improve your posture:

I hope this post has helped you decide whether waist training is right for you and given you tips on how to get started with it. It’s important to remember that this isn’t a quick fix: if you want to see results, it will take time and patience. However, if done correctly, waist training can help compress your midsection and give you an hourglass figure! Many factors can affect the results of waist training, such as your body type and genetics. If you want to give it a try, we recommend finding a reputable company with good reviews and customer service.
Unapologetically,
